QHS Octoberfest Parade and Field Competition Set for October 19

Quincy Senior High Marching Band Webpage

The Quincy Senior High Music Department will be hosting the 18th Annual Octoberfest Parade and Field Competition on Saturday, October 19th, featuring bands from Illinois Missouri and Iowa.  

The parade will travel west from 33rd and Maine Streets at 2pm that day with the field competition beginning at 5:15pm at Flinn Stadium at 44th and Maine Streets. The event is sponsored by the Quincy Public Schools, Friends of the Performing Arts, WGEM-TV and the Quincy Public School Music Department.

Admission is $6 and food will be sold throughout the competition.  All proceeds will benefit the music programs throughout the Quincy Public Schools.
