Quincy's annual Fishing Rodeo is Saturday at Moorman Lake. The Fishing Rodeo always takes place during Free Fishing Days in Illinois (where you are allowed to fish without a fishing license). People of all ages come out to fish with us during the Fishing Rodeo, and everyone always has a great time. To celebrate the Fishing Rodeo, the Big Dog and I have decided to share some fish stories. Like the time Dog had to fish our oars (I may have dropped them out of the boat) out of the water.

If you're planning on joining us on Saturday for the Fishing Rodeo, registration will start at 12:30 and the fishing competition will begin at 1. Prizes categories include largest bass, largest catfish and largest crappie, and a prize for largest fish overall (measured by length). Awards will also be handed out to the youngest and oldest fisher-person, regardless of whether or not they catch a fish.

We hope you can make it to the Fishing Rodeo. Even if you don't win a prize, you might leave with one or two new fish stories of your own!
