The Columbia, Missouri Air Show is This Weekend

On the 100th anniversary of World War One the 26th Annual Salute to Veteran’s Airshow will be held at the Columbia, Missouri Regional Airport this Saturday and Sunday.  This year’s show will feature the Canadian Forces Snowbirds and the United States Army Golden Knights Parachute Team.

Also appearing will be a T-28 Aerobatic Demonstration Team along with a World War Two BT-13 Vultee, a T-6 racing plane,a 1945 TBM-3E Torpedo bomber, a 1945 Lockheed PV-2 Harpoon and a 1917 Curtiss JN-4.

The Pershing Rifles Drill Team and the U.S. Army K-9 Corps will be putting on demonstrations as well both days. There is no admission charge and the parking is free both days.
