The public is invited to attend the 2013 Torch Run for Leg 3 in West Central Illinois Tuesday morning at 7 a.m. The run will begin at Transitions of Western Illinois at 631 North 48th Street in Quincy.
I am always amazed at why people would like to plunge into a freezing body of water yet they do it year after year. They did it again this past Saturday for the 9th consecutive year with the Polar Plunge to raise monies for the Special Olympians in West Central Illinois.
The Quincy Police Department and Buffalo Wild Wings in Quincy are teaming up Monday night to help Special Olympics. It's "Tip A Cop" night this Monday night at Buffalo Wild Wings at 6120 Broadway in Quincy.
