Here is your notice, beginning Friday, November 2, the speed limit along US 61 at Palmyra will be reduced from 65 mph to 55 mph approaching the north city limits of Palmyra starting just north of the MO 168 interchange to just north of Main Cross Street.
The work on the Champ Clark Bridge scheduled for today was postponed due to the weather. Weather permitting, Tuesday October 2, 2012 MoDOT crews will close the Champ Clark Bridge at Louisiana to perform sealing operations.

Residents of the City of Kahoka will now have safer sidewalks to navigate. The Missouri Department of Transportation and the City of Kahoka collaberated on the contruction of new sidewalks in the city.
If you haven't noticed it yet as you travel through the State of Missouri in August you will be encountering some of MoDOT's electronic roadside message signs. These signs usually provide important highway information. On August 1st, a new type of safety message started to appear.
