So the man has the all-time hit record for Major League Baseball with 4256 hits yet he is NOT in the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, New York.  Pete Rose, the man who said “I'd walk through hell in a gasoline suit to play baseball”, played the game as hard as anyone has ever played it.

ESPN revealed their top ten plays of the month and Quincy University came in at number ten. The highlight is from the Quincy University-Drury University game played January 31 in Springfield, Missouri. It was a finish some are calling the best finish to a college basketball game this season.

So I put on the TV last night to watch the Discover Orange Bowl in Florida on ESPN. It was Northern Illinois taking on Florida State. Normally I wouldn't have that much of an interest in watching the game except for the fact that Mathew Sims from Hannibal was playing in the game for the Huskies of Northern Illinois.
