Quincy’s Curbside Yard Waste Pickup Service Begins Today

For those waiting patiently for the City of Quincy to begin the curbside yard waste pickup program. wait no longer. Effective today, the City of Quincy will begin picking up yard waste items if they are placed in a bag or yard waste containers.  

Those bags and containers must not weight more than 40 pounds. The curbside service will run through December 19.

In conjunction with the pickup service, the City of Quincy's yard waste collection site on Radio Road officially opened for the season yesterday the hours for the site are from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. weekdays and 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday. The site will not be open on Sundays.
