The streets of Quincy will be filled with the sound of music as part of The Dogwood Anniversary Bash will be held on Saturday, May 2, and Sunday, May 3.

On Saturday, from 4 p.m. until midnight there will be live music on Maine Street between 5th and 8th Streets. On the main stage will be a Beatles cover band called “The Britins” preforming at 4, followed by the "Super Majik Robots" at 6:45 and then "The Plastics" at 9:30. On Stage 2 will be "Jared and the Gentlemen" at 5 p.m., followed by "Madd Hoss Jackson" at 7:45.

On Sunday Clat Adams Park on the riverfront will be the site for a 3 p.m. Community Faith Celebration followed by a Christian Concert at 4 p.m. featuring "J.J. Weeks," "Unspoken" and "Jonny Diaz."

There will be plenty of food and beverage available and you are encouraged to bring your lawn chairs both days to these events. These two days are just a part of the City of Quincy’s 175 Anniversary Celebration going on all year long.
