My Favorite Summertime Story!

Alberto Rodriguez

Every once and a while a story comes along that makes you stop and think about how great this nation is.

Two children from Monroe City, Missouri sold homemade lemonaide for 25 cents all summer long. Skyler and Logan Gosney, 8 and 7 years of age, said they did it to help people. And help they did. They gave half the money,$30.00, to the Monroe City Senior Nutrition Center and another $30.00 to Holy Family Catholic Church in Hannibal.

Thank you, Skyler and Logan, for your kindness. I still have a smile on my face everytime I think about their want to help people.
