Historical Society’s 2nd Walking Tour to Feature Dick’s Brewery
The Historical Society of Quincy and Adams County is taking reservations for the second in their series of walking tours for the Saturday, August 2 that will feature Dicks Brewery and the Dick family homes.
The tour will begin at 10 a.m. at the Historical Society’s Visitors Center, 425 South 12thStreet. The tours are $6 for members of the HSQAC and $10 for non members. Membership applications will be available for those wishing to join that day.
Those going on the tours are encouraged to wear comfortable walking shoes and have the ability to climb stairs and walk at least one mile. Following the tour, participants will return to the John Wood Mansion and will be welcome to tour it and/or shop in the Visitor’s Center gift shop.

Free parking is available in the Historical Society’s lot behind the John Wood Mansion or off the alley just north of the Osage Orangerie. The tours take place rain or shine unless storming.
