Hannibal Arts Council’s First Friday Art Adventure Will Allow Kids to Make Their Own Cameras
The Hannibal Arts Council Children’s Program Committee invites children to attend First Friday Art Adventure on February 7 from 4-6 where they can build their own camera!Local artist and Stowell Elementary School Art Teacher, Stephen Schisler will lead the children in constructing a pinhole camera made from simple items found around the house and a roll of film. This camera will allow the children to take their own photos and get them developed.
First Friday Art Adventures are designed for children ages 6 to 12 and are held on the First Friday of the month unless otherwise noted. The adventures are from 4-6 pm and are held at the Hannibal Arts Council, 105 S. Main St. HAC children’s First Friday Art Adventures are sponsored by the Hannibal Arts Council, George H. Riedel Private Foundation and the Missouri Arts Council, a state agency.
The cost for the Art Adventure is $10 per child ($5 per child for HAC members). Registration is required. A limited number of scholarships for free registrations are available. To register, contact the Hannibal Arts Council at 573-221-6545 or email@example.com
