Girl Scouts Participate in Operation Cookie Share
One of the finest organizations you can find are the Girl Scouts.
Girl Scouts of Central Illinois will once again participate in Operation Cookie Share. The effort to provide cookies to military troops domestically and overseas started in 2010. Since then, the Girl Scouts of Central Illinois have provided more than $825,000 worth of Girl Scout cookies to the women and men of our armed forces at home and abroad. In fact, the Girl Scouts of Central Illinois were so successful that this achievement is entered in the Illinois Congressional Records.
It is simple to participate in Operation Cookie Share. On each Girl Scouts’ cookie order form, there is a column labeled “Cookie Share.” Simply tell the Scout that you are purchasing from how many boxes you would like to contribute, and she will add it to your order.
Cookie Share cookies have reached troops all over the world. State Farm helps the Girl Scouts by delivering the cookies through their Adopt-a-Solider program.
