Robby Frazier did not get to walk across the stage to receive his degree from college.

His desire for higher education is what drives family and friends to make that dream possible for students at Unity High School. May 7th is the fifth annual JUCFest at the Adams County Fairgrounds. It's a fundraiser in remembrance of 23-year-old Robby Frazier who died in 2010. All proceeds go to the Robert Frazier Memorial Scholarship at UHS. Including the scholarships to be awarded this year, the fund has raised $47,000 for Unity Seniors pursuing a degree. Robby Frazier was a straight A pharmacy student at Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville when doctors diagnosed him with cancer. Shortly after his death, his parents set up a scholarship fund in his name at Unity High School in Mendon. The fund awards $1,000 scholarships to students every year based on an essay contest.
