The John Wood Community College Financial Aid Office will hold Financial Aid Filing Nights to help families and students complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The program is free and open to the public, with no reservations required.

The session will provide assistance and computer access for families who want to file the 2016-2017 FAFSA to apply for federal and state funding sources to attend any college or university in fall 2016. Families should bring 2015 tax information if possible.  If 2015 taxes have not been filed, families should bring 2014 tax information to be used as estimated figures on the FAFSA. The information is useful for all two-year and four-year college-bound students.

Upcoming FAFSA Filing Nights include:

January 26, Southeastern High School, 5:00 p.m.

January 27, Liberty High School, 7:00 p.m.

January 28, Unity High School, 6:30 p.m.

Additionally, JWCC will be hosting a College Goal Sunday event from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on February 7 at the JWCC campus in Quincy.  Questions may be directed to the JWCC Enrollment Services Office at 217-641-4144 or financialaid@jwcc.edu.
