City of Quincy Announces Holiday Schedules

The City of Quincy has announced their holiday schedules for Christmas Day and New Years Day.

Quincy City Hall will be closed at Noon on Friday, December 22, and all day Monday, December 25, in observance of the Christmas Holiday.  City Hall will reopen Tuesday, December 26th, for regular business hours.

Quincy City Hall will also be closed on Monday, January 1 in observance of the New Year’s Holiday.  City Hall will reopen Tuesday, January 2, 2018, for regular business hours.

Central Services will be open on Friday, December 22, from 7 a.m. until 11 a.m.  They will be closed on Monday, December 25, in observance of the Christmas Holiday and Monday January 1, 2018 in observance of the New Year’s Holiday.  They will be open regular hours of 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, December 26, and Monday, January 2, 2018.

Garbage and Recycle normally scheduled for Monday will be picked up on Tuesday, December 26, 2018 and Tuesday, January 2, 2018.

City buses will not be operating on Christmas Day, but will operate on their Sunday/Holiday schedule on Christmas Eve until 4 p.m. and New Years Eve until 5 p.m.  The buses will operate on their Sunday/Holiday schedule on New Year’s Day.  That schedule can be found on the city web site - http://www.quincyil.gov/government/CityDepartments/Transit/routes/weekend-holiday-schedules
