Have you taken the time to look at that great big "Blue Moon" each evening rising in the eastern sky the past two days? By definition a "Blue" moon is the term for a second full moon within one calendar month. With the first full moon of this month occurring on July 1 and this one on the 31st, it qualifies as a "Blue" moon.

It is a mission that started 9 years ago with a blastoff of a satellite intended to visit multiple planets including “Pluto.” This NASA spaceship, New Horizons, is bearing down on Pluto at 32,000 miles per hour and will arrive this Tuesday.

How many times have you told yourself, “man, I just want to stay here in bed”? Well your chance may be here and you might get paid thousands of dollars to do so. The National Aeronautics and Space Administration or NASA is looking to hire people to lay in bed for 70 consecutive days and they will pay you $18,000 to do so.

NASA has announced that a huge asteroid is headed toward Earth and will come within approximately 745,000 miles of Earth on the night of January 26.

High definition camera's have been mounted on the outside of the International Space Station and are streaming live video from outer space.

It is going to be a huge day for space stories today with a meteor striking earth and an asteroid cruising past earth today.

When I was a kid there was always a concern that someday Martians will invade our planet and wipe out us earthlings. There were plenty of  so called U.F.O.s spotted then too which made it even more intriguing to believe there just might be Martians out there.
