Avenue of Lights Opens Thanksgiving Night

The Annual Avenue of Lights opens Thanksgiving night with over 100 lighted displays in Moorman and Wavering Parks in Quincy. This year’s Avenue of Lights is the biggest, brightest and most animated yet with more than 350 separate pieces and over 15 miles of lights!

Create a wonderful Christmas memory for your entire family this year at the Avenue of Lights which is open nightly in Moorman-Wavering Park from 6-9:30 Thanksgiving Day through New Year’s.  Admission is $9 per vehicle.  No vehicles larger than 15 passenger vans will be permitted to avoid damage to park roads.

In the fourteen years since the gates of Moorman-Wavering Park opened to reveal the magic of the Christmas season, nearly a million guests have enjoyed the drive through the Avenue of Lights.

The Quincy Chamber of Commerce handles the Avenue of Lights and everyone who works at the Avenue of Lights is a volunteer, and all the displays were donated by local businesses and organizations, and from entrance fees.
