Here are some fun events going on this weekend in the Tri-States.

  • Hannibal Jaycees Wing Ding - Doors open at 11 AM at the Admiral Coontz Armory. Wings will start being served at 1 PM with games starting at 2 PM. Cost is $5 per person and you must be 21 and older to attend. Make sure to dress up in your best 90's fashion.
  • Candy Land Tea Party - Its a rainbow path themed party at the Quincy Library. Children of all ages are encouraged to join and enjoy sweets, tea, crafts, and of course Candy Land! Reservations are required and space is limited, so call the library at 217-223-1309 extension 224 to get your spot reserved.
  • Sunday Music Series: Carol Mathieson & Friends - Sunday, Jan. 21 at 4 pm in the Unitarian Church, 16th and Hampshire. This is a free event, but donations are accepted.
  • Salvation Army 125th Anniversary Kick Off - This is the first in a series of events scheduled to help celebrate the Salvation Army. Performer Carol Jaudes, known for her role as Jennyanydots in the hit Broadway musical “CATS.”
