Thanks to All Who Donated to Paw Pals

I just wanted to take the time to thank everyone who came by Y101's studios yesterday and donated dog or cat food or who made a monetary donation to the cause of replenishing the Paw Pals Pet Food Pantry. You greatly helped the cause and in doing so prevented many unwanted breakups of owners and their pets.

As I mentioned in a previous blog, the shelters are near capacity and owners having to give up their pets because they couldn't afford to feed them would only exasperate the problem at those shelters. So your donation will go a long way to keeping pets and owners together.

The Paw Pals Pet Food Pantry will remain open until May so the need will still be there between now and then. Perhaps in the weeks ahead you can drop off additional bags of food or checks to continue the cause.  The pantry is located at 20th and State in Quincy and is open on Thursday afternoons from 3:30 to 5:30.
