Blues in The District is 13 Weeks Away and The Big Dog’s Rock is Lonely
March 18, 2013 If anyone knows me they know I love the blues. They also know that I am a fixture at the Blues in the District concerts and sit next to what is now known as the "Big Dog's Rock" in Washington Park. I know it is only March 18th but for the blues lovers out there the Annual Blues in the District is just 13 weeks away and the Historic Quincy Business District, the organizers for the event, has announced this year's lineup.

September 14, 2012 It's hard to believe but the season for the Blues in the District will come to an end tonight at Washington Park as the band Mississippi Heat performs. It seems like these series of concerts just got started and "poof" they are over already.
