As I blog this, the sun is shining and the weather is perfect. Makes me think of summer. I ran into one of my old friends from my hometown of Pittsfield the other day and we got on the subject of the Clark Outdoor Theater just outside of Summer Hill, Illinois.

Summer arrived, officially, this week, and it's been hot! I was driving down a street in Quincy yesterday afternoon and noticed a couple little boys running through the sprinkler in their lawn. It was a good day for sprinkler running;  hot enough to want to do it, but not so hot that the grandparents - sitting on the porch - roasted as they watched...
