Great news for ice skaters around the Quincy area, River Skate opens on November 6.

It has been there for quite some time, and when I first saw it I must admit I did a double take. I am referring to the spray painted mustache on the face of Abraham Lincoln on the billboard on the riverfront at Kesler Park in Quincy.

The Quincy Park District is once again giving you some hoops love. Registration is open for the Adult Men's Basketball League scheduled to start Sunday, November 3, 2013.
