Jimmy John's hosted its annual "Customer Appreciation Day" today and participating locations celebrated by selling regular subs for just a buck. Quincy was not one of the participating locations. Not surprisingly, Quincy residents were less than thrilled.

As you may have heard, Jimmy John's, the Illinois-based sandwich chain, is hosting a “Customer Appreciation Day” today from 11:00 am until 3:00 pm where you—the aforementioned appreciated customer—can get a regular sub for a just a buck at participating locations only. And Quincy ain’t one of those participating locations.

If you have driven around Quincy and Hannibal lately there have been plenty of signs posted for people to see.  Most of them lately dealt with the last election and those signs are little by little coming down around the area. One sign that is still up has led many people to wonder what it is all about? The sign says "Who is Emerson Switch?".
