Both could be eaten anytime of the year, but we seem to usually devour it on the appropriate holiday instead. Of course the turkey is an All-American bird and it fits the holiday in November. But, in what may surprise many, corned beef and cabbage is not the main staple in Ireland on St. Patrick’s Day.

6th Annual Cadan’s Carnival For CDH Awareness Taking Place at Quincy Knights of Columbus – an Interview With Tiffany Frericks

The 6th annual Cadan's Carnival Halloween event will take place October 19 at the Quincy Knights of Columbus. $6,000 in Prizes Will Be Given Away During the ‘Smokin’ Good Times BBQ Challenge’

Our family couldn't wait. The winter was long - some might say torturous - so at the very first sign of decent weather we went outside and cooked on the grill. A friend of mine co-hosts a barbecue show, and his show has decided that the time change should officially mark the start of grilling season. I think that's a great (or grate?) idea. In June, the Quincy Knights of Columbus will host the Smokin Good Times BBQ Challenge, so if you haven't done any outdoor cooking, you'll want to start practicing soon. Thousands of dollars are up for grabs!
