Have you ever been to Quincy Community Theatre? It's really a tremendous amount of fun. A couple years ago we took my niece, then 5, for her first show. She was hooked, and our family has enjoyed attending several shows since then. If you've never been, there are some productions coming up that you may want to check out.

Quincy Raceways has announced the 2012 race season will be extended to include racing on September 23 and 30.
Toll roads are nothing new. There are several in the State of Illinois, mostly around Chicagoland and Northern Illinois. Missouri does not yet have one, but recently there has been plenty of talk about making I-70 a toll road from St. Louis to Kansas City.
With states running out of funding for roadway repairs and new construction there is no doubt in my mind we will start seeing toll roads pop up all over the place.
Illinois Veterans Home
The 12th Street entrance to the Illinois Veterans Home, the largest and oldest veterans' home in the state of Illinois. It was previously known as the Soldiers and Sailors Home, before a name change in 1974
The Quincy Amtrak Station
The Quincy Amtrak station is on Wisman Lane. It opened in 1985. The Illinois Zephyr and Carl Sandburg routes offer daily service between Quincy and Chicago.
