Emergency personnel responded to Kelly's Restaurant at 2902 Broadway shortly before 2 p.m. this afternoon after several kitchen staff workers became ill as they were overcome by fumes.
The Annual State of the City address was presented by Quincy Mayor Kyle Moore today at the Quincy Exchange Club. The Mayor remarked that there were plenty of positives in the year 2014.

A couple of six foot tall stuffed bears will make their first appearance at the Blessing-Rieman College of Nursing’s 26th Annual Teddy Bear Clinic on Sunday, October 5, from Noon to 4 p.m. The Clinic will be held in the Auditorium of Blessing Hospital at 11th Street in Quincy (Hospital main entrance).The new bears are named Flo and Dorsey Brown Bear.

Last night a residential structure fire near Coatsburg injured three firefighters when a portion of the structure collapsed. One firefighter was treated and released from Blessing Hospital. The remaining two were admitted and are in good condition.
