ICE Meth Now Showing Up in Quincy Area

I recently attended a great power point program dealing with the meth problem in our area presented by Adams County First Assistant State's Attorney Gary Farha. He was assisted by Illinois State Police Master Sgt. Pat Frazier from the Adams County Drug Task Force. Also attending were Quincy Police Department’s Nick Hiland and Cody Cook of the Illinois State Police. Sgt. Frazier discussed the severity of the problem and mentioned that cartels in Mexico are now producing ICE meth, which is now showing up in our area.

Former WGEM Weatherman Cory McCloskey Has Some Fun During Forecast Glitch [Video]

Remember Cory McCloskey? He was the weather guy at WGEM years ago. He has since moved on to other opportunities, and is currently doing weather at Fox 10 in Phoenix, Arizona. Just Who Were the Quincy Crybabies?

As a huge baseball fan, I find myself watching Ken Burns' Baseball series with keen interest on the Major League Baseball Network. The MLB Network has been airing segments of the series in recent days and I just can't pull myself away from the TV. Such was the case Sunday when I heard John Chancellor, the narrator of the program, mention how baseball in the years of 1910 to 1920 was blossoming and he went on to mention towns and their team names that were popular including the "Quincy Crybabies."
