A monumental event in our nation's history took place 213 years ago today. On April 25, 1803, the United States purchased from France what is known as the Louisiana Territory. More than 800,000 square miles of land that extending from the Mississippi River to the Rocky Mountains. The price was 60 million francs which equates to about $15 million.

Delta Tire & Blessing Hospital Team up for Earth Day Recycling Event

Today is Earth Day 2016. It is a day that we are to find ways to try to clean up our environment. As a result,  Delta Tire & Custom Wheels and Blessing Hospital are hosting a used tire collection for recycling in honor of Earth Day.  The collection will take place tomorrow, Saturday, April 23, from 8 am to 4 pm.

Quincyans React to Jimmy John’s Sub Snub

Jimmy John's hosted its annual "Customer Appreciation Day" today and participating locations celebrated by selling regular subs for just a buck.

Quincy was not one of the participating locations.

Not surprisingly, Quincy residents were less than thrilled.
