Medicare Open Enrollment Underway Through December 7
November 29, 2012 4:04 PM For those how are eligible, or those who know someone who might be eligible, now is the time for open enrollment for Medicare. The period of time began on October 15 and runs through December 7.
This is the time to compare your current plan with all of your options for 2013. In comparing your options, you might find better coverage and lower costs available to you. With the new health care law, people with Medicare are now eligible for a number of free preventive benefits including wellness visits and some cancer screenings plus discounted prescription drugs as well.
