Courthouse Movies!

I went to visit mom in Pittsfield, yesterday, to help her do some things around the house. As I was taking a break, I sat down to read the weekly newspaper in Pittsfield, The Pike Press, and local businesses are doing something very cool in the evenings.

It is called Maine Street summer movies. Yes, movies out side on the courthouse lawn. Pittsfield has a beautiful majestic courthouse and the with plenty of  room to move around in, they will bring in a big screen and show movies after dark on the courthouse lawn. And of course, it is very important that the local community gets involved with this, and they are. Many local businesses are helping out the cause with treats for the kids and great food at all the movies.
