Halloween

Once again this Halloween, the Quincy Fire Department will be hosting their annual "Drive-Through Trick or Treating" at the Central Fire Station at 906 Vermont Street.

There is a petition going around to make it easier on parents to take their kids trick-or-treating.

Hannibal is your Halloween Headquarters this year. From haunted houses, mazes, scary wooded trails, trunk-or-treat events, ghost tours and a new Haunted Hannibal Festival, you'll find all the spooks and scares you can handle for the season.

Each year I am amazed at the amount of money that is spent on Halloween. It seems like more and more adults are embracing this annual event than ever before.

Arts Quincy is giving everyone a chance to get crafty for Halloween.

Some people go ALL out when it comes to Halloween decorating. The folks behind "Fright Nights for Honor Flight" have compiled some of the scariest in Quincy through a fundraiser designed to raise money for Honor Flight.

Flooding is forcing some events to shuffled from the riverfront to other locations. Hannibal Parks & Recreation will now host the sixth annual Pumpkins in the Park at Central Park Sunday, Oct. 28. It was originally planned for Nipper Park, which is underwater and barricaded by the flood wall.

Halloween is a fun time for kids, but it can be pretty stressful for parents in terms of trick or treating.

Don't get me wrong, I love to carve pumpkins, but my kids seem to get the pumpkin crud EVERYWHERE. It's even been on my kitchen ceiling, but Frericks is providing a much cleaner way to decorate your pumpkin, well kinda.
