One of the most cruel killers in American history is now connected to unsolved murders in Missouri. The self-named 'BTK Killer' Dennis Rader is being investigated for several previously unsolved crimes that now include the Show Me State.

You might want to look the other way if you're a Razorbacks fan. There's a new study that says the least safe city in America is no longer in Missouri. Nope. That honor now goes to a small town in Arkansas.

Well, there's bad news about violence in Missouri, but some consolation also. A brand new ranking has Missouri ranked among the most violent states for crimes against persons. The good news? At least Missouri isn't Arkansas.

This is as intense as it gets. New dashcam and bodycam video shows a carjacking suspect from Illinois get captured in Wisconsin.

There are so many ways to look at crime data, but when it comes right down to it the one aspect of life people fear the most is violent crime. If that's the measuring tape alone, there's one Missouri place that surprisingly is ranked as the 3rd most violent in America and it's not St. Louis.

I tend to be naïve and I really would prefer to stay that way. However, the truth must be faced and there's one Missouri town that has sadly become known a one of the most likely places to be raped in America.

Someone (or possibly many some ones) had too much time on their hands and used it to cause extensive damage to a Missouri farmer's corn crop. Your help is needed in helping locate those that are accused of this needless crime.

I could give you 5 guesses as to what Missouri town has the highest total crime rate and I'd bet there's a good chance you wouldn't come up with the right answer. I will confess that the same is true of me. I learned the highest total crime rate exists in a town of less than 13,000 residents.

Consider this a word of warning that may or may not be a real threat. If you find a zip tie on the door handle of your vehicle or that of a family member or friend in Missouri, it could mean danger is lurking.

For the record, I like Springfield, Missouri. Even if you're also a fan, you'll have to admit the crime rate there is pretty atrocious. That's why I find it curious that one of the safest cities in Missouri is located so close to one that is notorious for crime and badness. Let's see how that works.
