The 7th annual Big Dam Film Festival will be held this Friday and Saturday, June 28 and 29 in Quincy. The event is held in conjunction with the Midsummer Arts Faire.

On Friday short films will be shown at the Washington Theatre starting at 9pm. The cost is $10 and you are invited to bring your own beverages and chairs.

Saturday morning is family movie time with "An American Tail" being shown at the Quincy Public Library at 10:30am. The movie is free to get into but reservations are required. Those can be made here.

The feature event on Saturday night will be held at Quincy University's Hawks Nest. The feature is "Pearl Jam Twenty," a documentary about the famed rock band. Doors open at 7pm and the movie starts at 7:30pm. The cost is $5 and you must be 18 to attend. Free appetizers will be served and beer will be available for purchase. A short live music tribute will also be performed. Reservations are suggested.
