2nd Annual 'Run For Your Life' 5K Run and Walk

The Pike County Health Department is putting on the 2nd annual "Run for your Life" 5k run and walk on Saturday, October 25.

The event will happen at Bowling Green Reservoir with registration at 3:00 p.m. and the race beginning at 4:00 p.m.. The entry fee is $25 if you sign up by October 1, and will include a t-shirt. Signing up after October 1 will cost $35 and will not guarantee you a shirt.

The race is described as...

Not just a race…it’s a game of coming out alive! Runners will be given 2 lives with the ability to replenish if infected by the zombies!

Trophies will be given to the 1st female and 1st male survivors as well as to the best costume overall. Registration can be done now online. You must be 11 or older to participate.

Proceeds go towards public health grants for those on a limited budget, who need medical or educational service in Pike County Missouri.
