Red Cross Needs Donors of All Blood Types

The Red Cross is looking for eligible donors to ensure a sufficient blood supply.

Widespread flu and bad weather in some parts of the United States have prevented donors from making or keeping their blood donation appointments. Healthy and diverse donors are needed now to maintain a sufficient blood supply. All blood types are needed, especially types O negative, A negative and B negative.

Some blood drives coming up are on February 10, 2015 from 1 - 6 at the American Red Cross, 3000 North 23rd Street and February 26 from 10 - 4 at Blessing Hospital, 11th and Broadway in Quincy.
