The Quincy Boat Club will be hosting the Parrot Head River Rendezvous Street Party on Friday and Saturday, August 5 and 6 at the Quincy Boat Club. Both nights are open to the public and will feature great music, food, drinks and fun with a cover charge of just $5 per person.

Quincy’s finest rock/blues band Soul Shaker will be playing Friday night.  Saturday night The Phins from St. Louis will take to the stage. The Phins are the popular Jimmy Buffett tribute band that has played in the Uptown Quincy Parrothead Street Dances in past years.

The Phins disbanded several years ago when Paul Roush, the lead singer, moved to Florida to pursue his life-long dream of becoming a full time singer/songwriter in land of Jimmy Buffett.  The band is getting back together for the Quincy Boat Club Street Party as a reunion tour gig!

The Phins' popularity in the St. Louis market is bringing St. Louis boaters to Quincy for the weekend!  Quincy Park District already has 18 boat slip reservations for the weekend! And the Quincy Boat Club expects their docks to be full of boaters from the tri-state area as well!

Both bands will be playing nightly from 8 p.m. to 12 midnight. One or two piece band entertainment will also take place from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. both nights.

Hamburgers and brats, along with sides, will be served both Friday and Saturday night from 6-8 p.m.
