The Payson Seymour softball team is honored again. And this time it is the first year coach.

The Payson Seymour softball team went 32 and 7 during the softball season. The best ever at the school. And now the coach is getting honors in his first year at Payson Seymour.  Karl Asbury guided the Indians into the class 1A state championhip game. No, they did not get the championship trophy but they did get respect from teams around the area and in the state of Illinois. And now the question is will Coach Asbury get to stay head coach. He is a teacher at Unity so he will need the approval of both Unity and Payson schools to stay as head coach. We will see what happens then. In the meantime, Coach and players can hold that 2nd place trophy high in the air. Congratulations Lady Indians.
