A news conference was held yesterday, November 23, at Quincy City Hall to begin a safe holiday driving season.

At the conference Mayor Kyle Moore, Chief of Police Robert Copley and spokesperson J.T. Dozier kicked off the 2020 Project Red Ribbon for the Quinsippi Chapter of Mothers Against Drunk Driving.

For the official start of this project the Mayor and the Chief both tied a red ribbon on their official autos.

The nationwide Project Red Ribbon asks motorist to tie a red ribbon onto their auto as a visual reminder to not drink and drive.  The project runs locally until January 1, 2021.  Free ribbons are available at the Quincy City Hall and at area banks.
