YMCA Offering Art Class For Youth In Brown County

The YMCA is offering an art class for Brown County kids. Youth in fifth through eighth grades will have the opportunity to build a "Place of Their Own."

Instructor Brad Jensen, a local artisan with a degree in art education, will help youth create, layer and texture clay in a landscape of a place they would enjoy spending time. Youth will then use acrylic paint to finish their creation.

The class will be held on three consecutive Wednesday evenings from 5:30 to 8:00 February 5, 12 and 19 in the art room at Brown County Middle School. Cost is $15 for members and $25 for nonmembers.
