You could have given me 100 guesses and I never would have been able to name the most stolen vehicle in Missouri. By far it's an old truck that is most often lifted by auto thieves.

The fact that I looked this data up can partially be blamed by the fact that I recently watched Gone in 60 Seconds again. No, I will not change my name to Memphis Raines though.

So what are the top 10 most stolen vehicles in Missouri?

5 Chevrolet Malibu 2020 - 470 thefts
6 Ford Fusion 2014 - 442 thefts

I'll gladly share my wrong guesses. I have always heard that Chevy Camaros were often stolen. Same for some classic Mustangs. That was obviously completely wrong. I'm also not surprised that trucks rank high especially considering how many people have them in Missouri. I am surprised that it's not newer models though. Don't get me wrong. I love classic vehicles and have a 2006 model of something or other myself. I would just think that thieves wanting to cash in would try and grab newer models. Once again I was/am wrong.
