What is the Biggest Tearjerker Movie of All Time?
What movies make you cry every time you watch them? I was listening to a speaker on a conference call talk about how he cried while watching 'Toy Story 3.' I'll admit, that was a title I wasn't expecting. There are movies out there that can bring even the toughest among us to tears, even after watching them multiple times. I did a Google search on the subject and found several online lists naming the biggest tearjerkers. Here are some of the most common titles that seem to appear over and over.
- The Shawshank Redemption
- The Green Mile (two in a row, way to bring everyone down, Mr. King!)
- Steel Magnolias
- Schindler's List
- Forrest Gump
- Beaches
- It's a Wonderful Life
- Toy Story 3 (seriously, it's on every list. I guess I'll have to watch it.)
Personally, I cry every time I see 'Schindler's List.' I also cried at the end of 'Million Dollar Baby,' and 'Steel Magnolias' can be tough to watch. For some reason 'Old Yeller' never bothered me, but I know that's a popular one, too.
