You don't know when it will be or where it will be, but sometime during the month of June a sobriety checkpoint will be held in Monroe County, Missouri.

The Missouri Highway Patrol and local area law enforcement agencies will be on the lookout for alcohol-impaired drivers. If you suspect a motorist of driving while intoxicated or observe a vehicle being driven in an erratic manner, contact the nearest law enforcement  agency. The Missouri Highway Patrol toll free numbers for reporting emergencies are 1-800-525-5555 or cellular *55.

Be safe this summer.
