You have heard it before. The need for blood is constant. That is where you come in.

The Red Cross reminds eligible donors of the importance of a diverse blood supply. Donors of all types are encouraged to roll up a sleeve and help save lives. In Adams County-

  • February 1 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Melrose Chapel United Methodist Church, 3600 Payson Road in Quincy
  • February 2 from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at The Church of St. Peter, 2600 Maine in Quincy
  • Feb. 3 from 12 noon to 6 p.m. at Adams Telephone Co-Op, Highway 94 in Golden
  • February 7 from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. at Quincy University Health and Fitness Center, 1900 Oak Street in Quincy

The top reason donors say they give blood is because they want to help others. The Red Cross Supplies about 40 percent of the nation's blood. The need is constant.
