Did you know Quincy has a Bicycle Club? It does, and you could be a part of it.

The spring kick off meeting is Thursday, May 13 and it is just not for expert riders. Laura Sievert is the club president and she says it is a club all about camaraderie and buildling a community. Thursday's meeting is at 6 p.m. at the Madison-Davis Bicycle shop at Eighth and Jefferson.

And the bicycle club is just not about getting on a bike and riding. Club members provide information on how to get started, what types of bikes are available for beginners and the type of rides that will suit you.
