Quincy University Students Collecting Food

Just got a press release for our friend Jim Robesky at Quincy University about students moving in for another year at QU.

Freshman will move into the dorms and get registered this Friday, August 17 starting at 9am.  Returning students sill move in on Sunday, August 19.

The reason why I am blogging about this event, QU always does somthing for the community this first weekend the students are here to get them involved and it is a good ice breaker thing, too. So on Sunday, August 19, the students will visit neighborhoods around the QU campus collecting food donations for area food banks.

Thank you to the QU staff and all the new students for helping  the community and getting the school year off to a great positive start.
