El Tappe Park Sounds Good to Me!

On Wednesday the news broke that the Quincy Park District was going to develop a new park on the sight of the new Quincy Park District offices on Bonansinga Drive in Quincy. With the new park comes word that the Park District would like for the public to have input into the naming of the park. I am sure there are plenty of names that will be forthcoming as ideas but a friend mine suggested El Tappe Park. To which I say, "public input over".

He was bigger than life. He was a husband, a father, a grandfather, intelligent, humorous, predictable at times and unpredictable at other times, outspoken to say the least, a mentor to many, a wonderful Exchange Club member, a 1972 graduate and a huge supporter of Culver-Stockton College, a life long New York Yankee fan and he was my best friend. A heart attack silenced John Tripp three years ago today at the early age of 58.
