The Voice

A Quincy Senior High School student recently auditioned for 'The Voice'! According to the Quincy Herald-Whig, 15-year-old Savana Santos was one of only 110 nationwide finalists to earn an audition in front of celebrity judges Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Shakira and Usher.

After four seasons, Cee Lo Green has left 'The Voice' in order to pursue other projects. The eccentric singer and 'Voice' mentor accidentally dropped the bomb during a visit to 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show,' which airs today (Feb. 19).

I have known Warren Jay Riley for many years now, and the boy can play! Warren had an audition with the folks from 'The Voice.'

It is funny how television programming evolves. Over the years we have gone from family shows, cowboy shows, doctor shows, comedy sitcoms, to reality shows. The latest fad from the last few years seems to be singing and talent shows.

Tomorrow night's TV show 'The Voice' will feature the voice of Katie Tenhouse of Liberty, Illinois. Katie, the daughter of Art and Sharon Tenhouse, is a member of the Starbuck's Chorus that will be performing tomorrow night on NBC-TV.

People Magazine has just announced Adam Levine of Maroon 5 and NBC's "The Voice" as the "Sexiest Man Alive." These kinds of listings are always subjective but it does cause people to react to them. So with that in mind, why can't Y101 do a local poll asking the same question?

A couple weekends ago, auditions for the television singing competition 'The Voice' took place in St. Louis. Several aspiring singers from our area made the trip in order to try out. 'The Voice' is a phenomenal hit on NBC, and its panel of coaches consists of some of the biggest stars in music. But what if the coaches were the ones auditioning? Who would you turn your chair around for?

St. Louis will be a site for open call auditions for 'The Voice.' Those auditions will be held at the Chaifetz Arena in St. Louis on Saturday, July 20th and Sunday, July 21st. Do you think you have the talent to win 'The Voice' competition?  Then you need to audition
