March 25, 2013 So here it was, Sunday afternoon and I was home watching the snow pile up and listening to the Cardinal game on KHMO from spring training in Jupiter, Florida. How weird was that? I'm shoveling my driveway while Mike Shannon was doing the play-by-play of the Cardinals-Mets game in 90 degree temperatures.
March 11, 2013 If you ever get the chance to go to Spring Training, whether it be the St. Louis Cardinals, the Chicago Cubs, or any other Major League Baseball team, you should make the trip. I just returned from my second Spring Training venture in 3 years through Destination Travel and thoroughly enjoyed every moment of it.

January 7, 2013 I was fortunate enough to be able to play baseball for 24 years and even today I start to get the bug to oil up my glove and play some catch. Every January my friends would be into hockey and basketball but not me. It was time to think baseball. And so it is again as I prepare to head south in a few weeks to Spring Training in Florida.
