February 18, 2013 Today is President’s Day, a Federal Holiday for many and a regular day for others. It is actually a holiday for employees of Townsquare Media, owners of Y101. KICK-FM, KHMO and WLIQ. As a result our offices will be closed today and will reopen tomorrow at 8am.
February 4, 2013 I ran into a couple of friends of mine who were complaining that the Super Bowl game ended too late. Part of their problem was they both were at Super Bowl parties and were feeling the effects of the parties they were at. Their complaint would not have even been uttered had the game been played on Saturday. I have always wondered why it is they don't move the game to Saturday night.
