White park benches surround the bas-relief sculpture 'Lincoln - Douglas Debate, Quincy, October 13, 1858.' The sculpture is situated along the 5th Street side of Washington Park. It was created by Illinois artist Lorado Taft, and dedicated by the City of Quincy in 1936.
